Lui is the Process Digitalisation Manager at Egoin, where he works closely with the Directors of Engineering and Operations to lead the company´s Digital Transition by enabling design and process automation. He received his Doctor of Engineering (Magna Cum Laude) from the Institute for Computational Design and Construction (ICD) at the University of Stuttgart, Germany. He is also a certified Architect in the US State of New York (AIA and NCARB).
His work aims to create multi-storey, mixed-use buildings that are efficient, adaptable, and resilient. His doctoral thesis focused on expanding the types and shapes of timber buildings. Previously, he has applied his strong background in computational design and construction to various Healthcare and Stadium projects as a Computational Designer at HKS Architects in London. He is passionate about exploring the potential of advanced technologies and materials to transform the field of architecture and construction.
