I am currently working on modeling uncertainty of surface acquisition instruments and methods for purposes of quality assurance and change detection. The focus ist set on objects that range from a few dm (e.g. segments of a construction) to a few hundert m (e.g. finished construction). For more details, see IMKAD project. Other research interest imply innovative measurement methods that use human perception instead of instruments. Details can be found under the Brain TLS project. My past working experience in a surveying office in Germany implied high precision geodetic measurements for railway infrastructure works (railways, tunnels, overpasses, underpasses, etc.)
