Abstract

The use of simulation and computational tools to study naturally ventilated buildings and energy efficiency for high quality in the built environment. Multi-scale analysis for building performance assessment in Brazil and other climates.

Nayara R. Marques Sakiyama

Nayara R. Marques Sakiyama is Associate Professor of High Performance Architecture at the Chair of Thermal Comfort. Nayara holds a PhD from the University of Stuttgart on “Performance-oriented design and assessment of naturally ventilated buildings”. Her area of expertise is the use of simulation and computational tools to study naturally ventilated buildings and energy efficiency for high quality in the built environment by using low-energy devices.

She develops testing and monitoring environments for building thermo-energy performance and its components as well as methodologies for measuring heat transfer and evaluating thermal properties of the constructive components used in buildings.

We look forward to your participation in what promises to be an inspiring and forward-thinking event.

Best,
IntCDC Management Team
