Abstract
In the course of a possible commercial launch of the innovative and sustainable solutions and products developed as part of projects in the AdvanceAEC portfolio, similar framework conditions and hurdles from legal regulation must be taken into account. First and foremost, the market for construction products in Europe is comparatively strictly regulated. In addition, national regulations must also be observed in some cases.
This online session aims to provide an overview of the provisions of the existing and recently renewed European Construction Products Regulation and the harmonized standards and approvals based on it.
As examples of the implementation of fundamentally new construction methods beyond European standardization, the regulations for approvals in individual cases in the German federal states will be presented.
In addition to an introductory presentation, there will be sufficient time for questions, discussion and exchange of experiences in order to get to know the different perspectives on the regulation of innovative construction products.
