DESCRIPTION:The Association for the Promotion of Lightweight Construction (Verein zur Förderung des Leichtbaus e.V.) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting the principles and philosophy of lightweight construction. For the 21st time\, the Stuttgart-based association\, chaired by Prof. Stefan Schäfer and Prof. Dr.-Ing. M.Arch. Lucio Blandini\, is awarding the Stuttgarter Leichtbaupreis (Stuttgart Lightweight Construction Prize)\, which comes with a total prize fund of 1\,500 euros. \nThe Leichtbaupreis is aimed at students of architecture\, civil engineering\, design\, aeronautical engineering\, and mechanical engineering\, in recognition of their work on design projects\, dissertations\, or master’s theses.
